The "No Days Off" Trade Journal Strategy

If it takes 21 days to form a habit, but the market is only open 5 out of 7 days in the week, and we know that Monday and Friday are the 2 worst days to trade aka TRAP DAYS, so we mainly trade Tuesday through Thursday, how do you form the habit of updating your trade journal daily???

That felt a bit run-on sentencey but I think you catch what I'm saying.

What can be done to make sure we are forming a daily habit in the beginning to fill in our trade journals?

When I started, I will keep it 100, I was not keeping up with my journal everyday. It took for me to FIND SOMETHING to journal about.

So here's what I came up with...

The things you want to journal about will have everything to do with everything you do in this industry.

This includes: trades taken, strategy used, entry/exit/risk, mindset, P/L for the day, etc. Screenshot or save the worksheet below for a better outline.

PEACE!

Great Idea, I hadn't thought of this. Although plan my targets before I trade, I hadn't thought of looking over everything as a whole on a weekly basis. Awesome blog.
